Corporation, Bloomington IN
Focused on the war fighter in the Special Operations
Community (SOF). Brought in as a lead/Principle to focus on
Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) detail - including a JAVA
based Man Portable Surveillance System (MPSS), Ground Based Observation
Surveillance System (GBOSS) and currently Information Assurance within IT
specializing in collaborating with Camber, Academia and Government interests
- supporting a Center of Excellence (COE). Additional responsibilities
include oversight/management of a sub-contracting Software House to include
agile-scrum planning meetings, CM redefinition, platform support for
C/C++/Java languages on a Linux OS, networking duties to reestablish a closed
intranet between devices. As a Platform specialist assisted in the
configuration and deployment of ACAS and Scap. Provided several
presentation's to the team members on configurations. Provided Proposal
development to increase potential business for the company. Developed
several tactical tools to solve ambiguities based on reverse engineering
tactics. Worked very close with NSWC/Crane to promote DISA standards
for IA compliance.
January
2013 - July 2013 Principle Software Engineer Tandel Systems, Clearwater, FL
Contract:
Responsibilities included several domains, from
Microsoft VS 8-12, developing a piped service oriented multi-threaded
application that recorded pressure variances for aircraft. This data
would have been presented to the operating technician and emailed results
sent to listed recipients. This was a ground based test platform
(non-in flight) but supported the DO-178B standard. Firmly engaged in agile
development and peer-review compliance for D0-178B and ARINC -429 BUS
standards. ISO-2010 compliance and complimented my EVMS CMMI level 5
experience.
This involved comprehensive team contribution for
GE-Aviation as well as Boeing; Additionally worked with a Long Term Evolution
(LTE) chip manufacturer to provide Global Position, tower hops (GPS) for
proprietary information database. Also conducted code reviews for a
refueling airborne tankers control system utilizing FPGA resources.
1999
– 2012 Senior Software Engineer II at Raytheon St. Petersburg, FL
CEC/SIAP/JLENS/CAC2S
Solved highly complex sensor tracking anomalies for
maneuvering objects utilizing Spatial correlation filters and multi
process communications over a broad range of network strategies.
Supported and developed sensor integration and
sensor adaptation layers within a Systems of Systems Architecture. Supported
and developed Human Machine Interface’s for control and visualization.
Contributed to live and simulated field events to support extremely critical
pre-product release analysis. Worked closely with John Hopkins University
Applied Physics Lab in Columbia MD, ARINC Standards Protocol and in flight
analysis from NRL equipped Ship Self Defense aircraft.
Ø Requirements definition as well as requirements
tracing for all programs; again full SDLC in a critical role - missile
defense and ship board self defense systems (SDDS).
Ø Big O-notation log10
Ø BOEING BCME product development lead for porting
JAVA to C++, as well as C language for ASM low-level necessities.
Ø Followed Tadil-J specifications, Link-16 as well as
ARINC bus standards -429 for example.
Ø Extremely involved in the safety of mission
assurance. Most detail is classified. However involved critical
missions engaging in tracking of FOE attempts, utilizing classified
technologies developed by our team.
Ø
Decreased compilation / build
time by over 300% by reconfiguring the compilation build structure including
target files
Ø
Improved Schedule Performance Index to
Cost Performance Index by redefining concepts of operation, received an
individual achievement award
Ø
Designed, developed prototype systems
for customer presentation attracting new business
Ø
Provided cross program support for
varying paradigms and operating systems giving the program a unique edge
Ø
Optimized network performance between
systems, by analyzing queue usage and application layer through transport
layers. The team received an achievement award for the significant find
Ø
Completed analysis of data extracted from
test events to find the cause solution scenario
Ø
Developed preventive pathways of
possible failure supporting Information Assurance protecting the customer
Ø
Isolated potential faults
preventing critical system failures
Ø
Designed, developed a specialized
gateway - crossing classified to unclassified domains supporting information
assurance for the customer
Ø
Ported programs to support ENDIANESS,
correcting network and I communication issues
Ø
Programmatically resolved existing race
conditions which increased valuable throughput Resolved memory leak issues
correcting heap boundary violations that were not immediately detected
